Initial consultation will take place on the phone via phone call or in person and will likely be 15 - 20 minutes. We will likely chat about your needs and individual goals. SESSIONS

First session (Intake Process)90 MINS
normal sessions90 mins

For the duration of the treatment, the client does NOT take off all clothing. The “Rolfing Uniform” typically consists of underwear and a bra. Sports bras, two-piece bathing suits, gym shorts are also acceptable. Essentially, you’ll come with something that is comfortable to wear for a brief postural and functional assessment.

Depending on your needs and experience with Rolfing, we may only have a single session to address certain areas of tension and pain. If this is your first-time doing Rolfing and want to see if it is for you, after the first session we can evaluate if doing the Ten Series is something you’re interested in committing to. As a second option, I would recommend receiving three sessions rather than one so we can hold the intention of working toward integrative changes. I tend to favor the traditional Ten Series sessions which I learned in my rigorous training at the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute. If you have already gone through the series, continuing to get sessions from time to time can be helpful in keeping your “integrated” body.

The Ten Series Rolfing sessions are ideally done once a week or once every two weeks. This is something we could discuss in order to accommodate scheduling needs, budget, etc.

FOLLOW-UP

Telephonic/in-person15-20 mins
After the basic series people may choose to do a post ten sequence that combines 2-3 session goals in the completed ten series. Additional tune up sessions are suggested when needed, however some people will take a break for a few weeks, months, or years before receiving more work to allow the body to integrate the changes that occurred throughout the Rolfing sequence.
